Why can’t I see data on my Dashboard?
There can be a few different reasons you are not seeing data. Check to see if you have selected an asset for your display. Check to see if you have added the correct widgets your are looking for and that they are configured as needed. It is possible that you have reached your entitlement limit.
What is an Asset?
An Asset is a location that you are monitoring the weather on. This can be a single point on a map or an area you have designated.
How can I activate dark mode?
Click on Settings, (the green circle in the upper right hand corner) Click on Preferences. In the drop down box next to Theme, select your mode preference. The change is instantaneous.
How do I switch between metric and imperial units?
Click on Settings, (the green circle in the upper right hand corner) Click on Weather Unit Preferences. Update preferences as desired. The following are preferences that can be changed. Distance Wind Pressure Temperature Rainfall Snowfall Click Save.
Why can’t I create assets?
You may not have the right role. Only Customer Admins or Asset Creators can do this. Reach out to your internal account owner or DTN Account Manager to be upgraded.
How many Alerts can I create?
There is no set number to the Alerts that can be created.
Can I combine multiple weather parameters into one Alert?
You can only have one weather parameter per alert. But you can add multiple Alerts to one Asset.
What Map layers are available?
Common Map layers in Weather Hub are various radar, satellite, lightning, precipitation, temperature, wind, severe weather watches/warnings, and storm tracks.
What type of Assets do I have?
You can find a list of all your created Assets by clicking on the Asset Manager icon on the left hand menu. This is also where you can create new Assets.
