Term Description
Customer Admin An administrative role within Weather Hub that can create users, assign roles, enforce security settings, and integrate directories.
Customer Asset Manager This role is similar to a Customer Admin, however they cannot access reports or report archives. A Customer Asset Manager can still create and delete Assets and Alerts.
User This is a role that allows someone to view dashboards and widgets. They cannot create Assets and Alerts, but do have the ability to create and change their own dashboards.
Contact A contact is someone who is able to receive Alerts and Notifications but is assigned by someone with IMT admin rights. A contact does not have any access to Weather Hub.
Group A Group is a list of Contacts and/or Licensed Users (Customer Admins, Customer Asset Managers, Users) that are grouped together and can be added to receive individual Alerts via SMS or Email.
IMT - Identity Management If someone is given IMT admin rights, they can assign Licensed Users (Customer Admins, Customer Asset Managers, and Users). They can also assign Contacts and create Groups. To access Weather Hub, you do not need access to Identity Management. Only assign the people you want to be able to assign others in the organization to various user roles.
